2025 乙巳鷄籠中元祭 Keelung Mid-Summer Ghost Festival｜視覺設計

《鷄籠中元祭》主視覺設計以「傳承」與「多元」為核心概念，融合當代圖像語彙，呈現這場擁有171年歷史的民俗盛典所蘊含的文化厚度。2025年由「吳」姓值年，畫面以此為視覺中心，象徵姓氏宗親的傳承責任與凝聚精神。 整體設計採用刺繡質感，宛如一針一線細密縫織，象徵文化的點滴累積，也象徵各姓宗親在歷史洪流中共同織就的記憶與團結。圖像涵納放水燈、燈籠、廟宇與民俗人物等元素，勾勒出基隆中元祭多元信仰與族群文化交融的樣貌，呼應港都兼容並蓄的城市性格。 本設計期待傳遞「傳承文化、族姓共榮、多元共祭」的深層意涵，讓這項珍貴的無形文化資產在現代視野中持續綻放光芒。

The visual design for the Keelung Mid-Summer Ghost Festival centers on the themes of “heritage” and “diversity,” combining contemporary graphic language with deep-rooted folk traditions to reflect the rich cultural layers of this 171-year-old festival. In 2025, the Wu family serves as the designated host clan, and the character "吳" takes center stage in the composition, symbolizing the responsibility of ancestral succession and the unifying spirit of clan solidarity. The overall design adopts a textile-inspired embroidery texture, with each stitch representing the gradual accumulation of cultural memory. This stitching metaphor also reflects how various clans have jointly woven a collective history through time, preserving traditions with unity and care. The visual elements include water lanterns, temple architecture, lanterns, and folkloric characters, all of which portray the festival’s vibrant religious expressions and cultural narratives. These components also echo Keelung’s identity as an inclusive and diverse port city. This design aims to convey the deeper meaning of “cultural inheritance, clan solidarity, and multicultural worship,” ensuring that this invaluable intangible cultural heritage continues to shine through a modern visual lens.
